Please sign up, pizza provided or feel free to bring your own lunch.

The Abdul Latif Jameel Poverty Action Lab (J-PAL) is a global research center working to reduce poverty by ensuring that policy is informed by scientific evidence. Anchored by a network of over 170 affiliated professors at universities around the world, J-PAL conducts randomized impact evaluations to answer critical questions in the fight against poverty.
Innovations for Poverty Action (IPA) is a research and policy nonprofit that discovers and promotes effective solutions to global poverty problems. IPA brings together researchers and decision-makers to design, rigorously evaluate, and refine these solutions and their applications, ensuring that the evidence created is used to improve the lives of the world’s poor.
Join Aprille Knox, Senior Policy Associate (J-PAL) and Jackson alum (MA’17), and Nessa Kenny, Senior Policy Associate (IPA), to learn more about the work of both organizations, including the use of randomized evaluations as a tool for evaluating program effectiveness, and to hear about open positions worldwide.
