Each fall, the Jackson Institute offers an introductory lecture course for Yale College, Gateway to Global Affairs. Open to all of Yale's incoming freshmen and sophomores, the course is an introduction to topical issues in global affairs. The course teaches students to analyze international problems of the day ranging from energy security to infectious disease. Led by the Institute's Director, Professor Levinsohn, the course is taught through four modules on separate topics, each presented by a different expert.
