My summer internship was at the Ukrainian chapter of Transparency International, the global anti-corruption organization. The internship was an incredible opportunity to contribute to an NGO that was involved in implementing the legislative reforms that were passed after the 2014 Revolution of Dignity in Ukraine. A Yale alum provided the opportunity to interview for positions in Kyiv, and the Jackson Institute provided funding support for the endeavor after I secured the position.
