During the summer between my first and second years, I was fortunate to secure funding from Jackson in order to serve as a Rosenthal Fellow at the Department of Defense. The fellowship was immensely formative for me, and helped me frame my job search when I returned to Jackson in the fall. Being in Washington all summer also allowed me to connect with numerous Yalies. These discussions helped me think about employers that might be a good fit for me upon graduation. I know that I would not have had such a meaningful and insightful summer opportunity without the support I received - both monetary and in terms of career advice - from the Jackson Institute.
