He is also a Member of the Group of Thirty. He was Argentina’s Minister of Economy (1991-1996 and 2001) and Minister of Foreign Affairs (1989-1991), he was elected National Congressman on two occasions (1987-1991 and1997-2001), and he also served as Chairman of the Central Bank of Argentina in 1982. He was Professor of Economics in the National University of Córdoba, Visiting Professor of Economics at the Stern Business School at NYU, and Robert F.
