Josh Hochman is a senior in Yale College majoring in history, with a focus on 20th century transatlantic relations. He is the president of the Yale College Democrats. Josh has served as a speechwriter and editorial assistant for the CEO of the Atlantic Council and as a Policy Intern for the Murphy for Governor campaign in New Jersey. He is enrolled in the Brady-Johnson Program in Grand Strategy and in the Director's Fellowship at the Institution for Social and Policy Studies. Last summer, Josh conducted field research in France about public opinion of U.S. foreign policy in post-industrial cities. He is interested in the nexus between U.S.-Europe alliance cohesion and the health of liberalism in Western democracies grappling with strains of populist-nationalism.
