Lily Sutton is the assistant dean for student affairs at Yale’s Jackson School of Global Affairs, where she supports the academic and co-curricular experience of graduate and undergraduate students and oversees student-organized events and activities. Before coming to Jackson, she was director of admissions for five years at Yale School of Music, where she was responsible for all aspects of recruitment and enrollment management for the school. Lily has worked in higher education since 2008; she was assistant to the director of the Institute on the Arts and Civic Dialogue, an interdisciplinary arts initiative of the Provost’s office at New York University, and director of admissions at Bard College Conservatory of Music. She holds a Master of Education degree from Harvard Graduate School of Education and a Bachelor of Arts in History from Wesleyan University.
