Cofounder and CTO

Fitsol Supplychain Solutions Pvt Ltd

Akshay Tandon is the Co-Founder and CTO of Fitsol, a climate technology company that helps manufacturers move from carbon measurement to physical decarbonization across their supply chains. Since 2023, Fitsol has measured and managed more than 570,000 tonnes of CO2e across 50+ enterprises and 120+ manufacturing plants, delivering 69,000+ tonnes of emission reductions and avoided emissions. Akshay led its AI platform, Kyoto, to certification by Smart Freight Centre against ISO 14083 with the GLEC Framework, making Fitsol the only Indian startup on SFC's global certification registry.

Beyond his company, he works on India's wider decarbonization capability. He co-published a Logistics Decarbonization Playbook with Smart Freight Centre India, designed a practitioner course that trains supply-chain operators rather than sustainability teams, and founded The Fitsol Greenprint, a weekly newsletter read by more than 10,000+ subscribers. Fitsol's delivery network of nearly 100 partners, mostly small family-owned transporters, recyclers and packaging manufacturers, receives technical training and free platform access, while its blue-collar employees hold stock options and interest-free loans for family needs.

In 2026, Fitsol was selected for the Google for Startups Accelerator and won the Mumbai Climate Week Innovation Challenge, hosted with the National Stock Exchange of India. Akshay holds an MBA from the Indian Institute of Management Kashipur and an ESG Professional Certification from the Indian Institute of Corporate Affairs. Raised in Patna, he lives in Gurugram with his wife and two sons, and holds that lasting decarbonization is delivered by the people who run fleets and warehouses, not by reports.
