Beatriz Boza is Partner at EY Peru, specializing in corporate governance, institutional integrity, and family enterprise. Her work focuses on strengthening board effectiveness, governance systems, and organizational resilience, particularly in emerging economies and complex institutional environments. Prior to joining EY, Beatriz spent over twenty years serving on corporate boards, including as an independent director.
She has also held senior public leadership roles in Peru, having chaired key national institutions such as Indecopi and Promperú, and founded the non profit organization Ciudadanos al Día, dedicated to improving public service performance and institutional quality. She later led the revision of the Peruvian Code of Ethics for Lawyers, reflecting her long standing commitment to professional ethics and rule based governance.
Beatriz is a Yale World Fellow and has been recognized as a distinguished alumna by Universidad Adolfo Ibáñez and the Pontifical Catholic University of Peru. For the past decade, she has been ranked among Peru's 100 business leaders with the strongest reputations by Merco. She is the author of Visionarios (2026), Arraigo (2024), and Empresarios (2014). She holds an MBA from Universidad Adolfo Ibáñez and a Master of Laws (LL.M.) from Yale Law School. Her training is complemented by executive education in board dynamics and organizational leadership from the Tavistock Institute (London), the Institute of Directors (UK), and the Family Firm Institute, where she earned advanced certifications in family business and family wealth advising.
