David Fuentes Montero is Chief Executive Officer of BD Holding Group, a technology and business consulting group headquartered in San José, Costa Rica. Under his leadership, BD Holding Group expanded its operations beyond Central America, establishing active commercial operations in Mexico and Spain and strengthening its international footprint. In this role, he led the design, deployment, and scaling of multiple fintech products, contributing to the group’s positioning as a regional player in digital financial solutions and financial services technology.

Previously, he served as Deputy CEO of Banco Internacional de Costa Rica, a state-owned commercial bank, where he was responsible for defining and executing the Trade Finance strategy to support economic development across the Central American region.
Earlier in his career, he served as Costa Rica’s Minister of Finance, leading key fiscal reforms and preserving economic stability during a challenging global environment.
