About
Gilbert Doumit is the co-founder and managing director of Beyond Group, an international consulting firm that supports governments and development agencies in public policy, strategy, organizational transformation, and innovation. Over nearly two decades, he has advised leaders across the Middle East, Africa, and other emerging contexts on translating complex strategies into meaningful institutional and societal change.
Gilbert has long been engaged in political activism and civic life, with a strong interest in democracy, social justice, and the role of ideas in shaping public life. Living between Berlin, Doha, and Beirut, he brings a translocal perspective to questions of identity, culture and transformation. He is particularly interested in philosophy as a vehicle for critical thinking and problem solving across personal, organizational, and political contexts.
A lecturer and frequent public speaker, Gilbert speaks on leadership, public policy, and the intersection of AI and human systems. He also serves on the boards of several think tanks and NGOs, contributing to thought leadership and education transformation.
