Mohamed Berrada

Mohamed Berrada is a project development professional with over fifteen years of experience in project finance, development finance, and financial advisory. He currently works as a project developer at AMEA Power, a UAE-based independent power producer focused on emerging markets, based in Morocco, where he covers French-speaking Africa and is responsible for the commercial, financial, and legal structuring of large-scale renewable energy projects. 

Prior to this, he worked on the financing of renewable energy projects across the continent for a renewable power company and spent six years with the Islamic Corporation for the Development of the Private Sector (ICD), the private sector arm of the Islamic Development Bank, serving as Regional Representative for North Africa and working on financing mandates for transactions across Africa. He began his career in transaction advisory at Mazars in Paris.

Mohamed holds an MSc in Management from HEC Paris and is a citizen of Morocco and Sweden.
