We work globally to mobilize that network: connecting the dots between people and ideas, and catalyzing the collaborations and initiatives that turn relationships into real-world impact.

Bespoke Leadership Development Programs
We design and deliver tailored programs that respond directly to institutional needs and the pressing challenges of the moment. Each year, we convene a seminar for United Nations Resident Coordinators, bringing together the UN officials who lead country teams worldwide to grapple with the toughest questions facing multilateral action — from the Triple Planetary Crisis to the future of SDG financing. We also design custom programming for partner institutions and emerging leaders globally, from Nigeria to Ukraine.

Incubator and Accelerator for New Ideas
Good ideas often arrive informally — a conversation with a fellow, a partner's unfinished thought, a gap someone on the ground has identified. We treat those moments seriously. When an idea has promise, the ILC provides the platform and connections to test it, scale it, and turn it into something lasting.
We serve the same bridging role between Yale's scholarship and the practitioners working on the front lines of global challenges. An ongoing research collaboration with Affinity Africa and the Mo Ibrahim Foundation connects Yale's academic rigor with the on-the-ground expertise of two organizations working directly on financial inclusion across Africa. The partnership's first output, a report on cash dependency and financial inclusion, reflects what happens when scholarship and frontline practice inform each other directly.

Convening Our Global Network
