Description:

The Jackson School of Global Affairs will host a conversation with Kefentse Mzwinila MA, MS ’99, Minister of Land and Water Affairs for the Republic of Botswana.

The talk, “Governance and Diplomacy for Sustainable Natural Resource Management: The Case of Botswana in the SADC Region,” will be moderated by David Simon, Senior Lecturer and Assistant Dean for Graduate Education at the Jackson School.

Mzwinila was a commissioned officer in the Botswana Defence Force before going into private practice as a clinical psychologist and consultant economist. He holds a PhD from North-West University in South Africa, and an MA degree in international and development economics and an MS degree in psychology from Yale University.

The event is open to the Yale community. Please register in advance.
