International Security Studies continues its Spring 2023 colloquium series with a presentation by Chauncey Postdoctoral Fellow Goitom Gebreluel. A political scientist, he specializes in international and comparative politics of the Horn of Africa. His current research examines the role of ideology and policy learning in the making of Ethiopian grand strategies and how these strategies, in turn, shaped the onset, escalation and termination of its regional rivalries.
