Adoma Addo (BK '22) is studying Environmental Studies with a concentration in Human Health and the Environment. Having grown up in Sub-Saharan Africa, she is deeply passionate about the nexus between development and human health, specifically with the growing importance of urbanization. Although most of her past work in global health has focused on sexual and reproductive health and sanitation, she intends to continue her study into the ever-changing impacts of climate change on human health in an era of necessary adaptation and mitigation. She is excited to continue to pursue her interest in health and development through the Global Health Scholars Program!
