Anat Lior is the inaugural Schmidt Visiting Scholar for the Schmidt Program on Artificial Intelligence, Emerging Technologies, and National Power, part of International Security Studies.  Lior also will serve as a Lecturer and an Affiliated Fellow at the Yale Information Society Project, designing new courses on AI on global affairs.  A former officer in the Intelligence Corps of the Israeli Defense Forces, Lior served in Unit 8200 in South Israel, before completing a dual degree in Law and Business Administration at Reichman University, as well as a Master's Degree in Law at Reichman University and at Yale Law School.  Lior later obtained her Doctorate degree from Yale Law School and worked with Professor Aharon Barak, former Chief Justice of the Israeli Supreme Court, focusing on comparative constitutional law.
