Cathleen Liang ( SM ’24, she/her) is a Molecular Biophysics & Biochemistry major from Las Vegas, NV. Cathleen's interest lies in the intersection of policy and health equity, particularly in adolescent populations. Here on campus, Cathleen is the volunteer director of Y2Y, a nonprofit crisis housing center for youths ages 18-24. She also spends her time volunteering at HAVEN Free Clinic and Yale New Haven Hospital's pediatric department. Additionally, Cathleen is a Community Mental Health Fellow on the research track, studying studying pain management in sickle cell patients through mindfulness based interventions. In her free time, Cathleen enjoys knitting, puzzles, and hanging out with her friends.
