Emma Peterson (MY' 24) is from Phillips in Northern Wisconsin. At Yale, she studies the History of Science, Medicine, and Public Health and is on the pre-med track. She is interested in women's and reproductive health, especially focused on how to bring reproductive care and education to underserved rural communities. She hopes to pursue these interests by working in medicine clinically while also focusing on healthcare policy. When not in class, she volunteers in the Reproductive Health Department at HAVEN Free Clinic, serves as the treasurer of the Yale International Relations Association, and works as an aide in the Pauli Murray college office. In her free time, she enjoys going on runs, waterskiing, and drinking too much coffee.
