Enrique Vazquez (GH ‘23) is a Political Science and Molecular, Cellular, and Developmental Biology double major from St. Paul, Minnesota. His interest in science and public policy have converged on global health—particularly its impact on healthcare systems and patient access issues. He has worked with the National Marrow Donor Program, advocating for federal legislation that increases access to stem-cell transplants for Medicare recipients. His research with the Yale Open Data Accessibility Project (Yale School of Medicine) expands on this relationship, exploring the role of data-sharing programs in medical research. Enrique is president of the Yale Public Health Coalition, Editor-in-Chief for the Yale Journal of Medicine and Law, and a member of the Yale Alpine Ski Team.
