Eva Syth (TD ’22) is a Statistics & Data Science major from South-Central Wisconsin. She is currently interested in health policy and health care systems around the world, as well as the political determinants of health in shaping inequities. During a recent summer, Eva worked with the Wisconsin Department of Health Services, specifically with the Medicaid program, and was able to gain a better understanding of the current relationships between the state and managed care organizations. On campus, Eva currently works as an undergraduate researcher in the Gerstein Lab, a math tutor, as well as a Student Organization Consultant. In her free time, you can find her taking a walk or knitting.
