Jessica Ainooson (ES '20) is History of Science, Medicine, and Public Health major with a focus of on Public Health. She hopes to build a career improving health care systems, especially in the Global South. This directly relates to her interest in preventative care and women's health. As a first-generation Ghanaian American, Jessica's interest in Global Health was sparked by watching her family in the US and Ghana navigate the health system. Her time interning at BBK Worldwide, a healthcare consulting agency, expanded her interest in the international health system. On campus, Jessica engages with Yale International Relations Association, tutors for the Urban Improvement Corps, and dances with Dzana (an African dance group). In her free time, Jessica loves to read, write, cook, and take long walks.
