Lily Engbith is a first-year MBA candidate at the School of Management. Prior to matriculation, she spent three years at the Yale Program on Financial Stability (YPFS), where she wrote case studies on topics ranging from the creation of a Colombian asset management company in the 1990s to the design of an Indonesian account guarantee program in 2008. Researching these interventions allowed her diverse insights into key design decisions that underpin public-private sector interactions, many of which she intends to apply to contemporary problems in international finance. In addition to her work with YPFS, Lily served for two years as a Yale-China Fellow based at the Chinese University of Hong Kong. She is also a graduate of Yale College (’17) and a lifelong New Haven resident.
