Megan Briggs (TD '23) hails from Scottville in rural Michigan. At Yale, Megan is majoring in Ethnicity, Race, & Migration. She was inspired to pursue global health by the passionate doctors in her family and her belief that health is the greatest avenue through which to change lives. Megan is invested in exploring the intersection of climate change and global health. In particular, she is interested in studying rural economies amidst rapid urbanization and how to build climate and health resilience in urban communities. At Yale, she enjoys working on film projects, writing poetry, and listening to live music, especially with Yale Radio.
