Michael Robinson is a first-year PhD student in Quantitative Marketing. His research interests lie at the intersection of economics, psychology, big data, and policy. His research aims to understand how and why individuals make the decisions they do and the impact interventions can have on individual political and consumption choices, health, and happiness. Prior to beginning his PhD studies, Michael was a Strategy Director for Anthem, Inc., where his team drove the growth and development of innovative healthcare delivery models, using technology and social determinants of health research, to improve health outcomes. Prior to this, Michael was a strategy consultant at Deloitte Consulting where he served both private sector and government clients. The projects he led focused on improving operational efficiency, building predictive analytics models, and developing forward-looking data architectures. His clients included senior healthcare, technology, and national security and defense leaders. Michael is a native of the Washington, D.C. area and received both his BA and MBA from Yale.
