Natalie Schoen (’20) is a pre-med HSHM major in Saybrook College from just outside of Boston, MA. She is specifically interested in global health in east Africa, and is studying Swahili at Yale. Natalie is a director of publicity and marketing for the FIMRC chapter at Yale, the Chief Learning Officer of Kappa Alpha Theta sorority, a Community Health educator, and a Saybrook College Aide. She does research in the Paintsil lab at YNNH on pediatric HIV, and hopes to conduct research abroad in the future. She aims to one-day practice internationally as a physician in low resource settings, and to better her ability to do so through the study of global health.
