Noah Lerner is a joint-degree MBA and MEM candidate at the Yale School of Management and the Yale School of Forestry and Environmental Studies. He is passionate about pushing forward policy and business models that accelerate the deployment of low-carbon infrastructure in the U.S. and abroad. Before coming to Yale, Noah spent several years in Beijing working on climate and energy policy for the Natural Resources Defense Council (NRDC) as a Princeton-in-Asia fellow. He was also a consultant for WWF Philippines on their strategy to redirect policy bank financing away from coal projects, as well as the host of a Chinese environmental affairs radio show. Most recently, Noah worked for Sungage Financial, a Boston-based start-up that provides financing for residential solar and battery storage projects across the United States. Noah grew up in Newton, Massachusetts, and graduated Summa cum Laude from Amherst College in 2016 with a B.A. in Biology and East Asian Studies.
