Ryan Gapski is an undergraduate student in Pierson College majoring in History. Originally from San Diego, he grew up speaking English and Spanish and is currently studying Portuguese. He is interested in the humanities, intellectual history, and liberalism and its reception in Latin America. Ryan has experience working for the International Rescue Committee and the United States Conference of Catholic Bishops (Migration and Refugee Services). Last summer, he was a Political Studies Fellow at the Hudson Institute. On campus, he is involved with the William F. Buckley Jr. Program and the Yale Political Union.
