Will Moore graduated from Bristol University in 2009, with a Bachelor of Arts in history. During his time there, he focused on modern economic and political history, specifically on the evolution of Margaret Thatcher’s economic policy. After graduating, Will joined Merrill Lynch’s Investment Banking division in London, working as part of the UK Mergers and Acquisitions team. After four years at the financial grindstone, he decided to pursue a completely new career and joined the British Army. Following a year’s training at the Royal Military Academy Sandhurst, Will commissioned into the 1st Battalion Irish Guards, more affectionately known as “the Micks.” During his time in the Micks, he deployed on numerous overseas exercises to Belize, Brunei, Germany, Kenya and Oman. More recently Will’s focus has shifted to counterterrorism in the Middle East; he has commanded soldiers on numerous operational deployments across the Middle East, both in combat and supporting roles. Outside of work, Will is an avid Liverpool fan and an enthusiastic cook.
