Yi-Ke Zhang is a Ph.D. student in the Department of History. He specializes in the history of twentieth-century China (with an emphasis on the post-1949 period) and Cold War international history. Originally from Nanjing, China, Yi-Ke earned a B.A. in History and International Relations from the University of British Columbia and an M.A. in Asian Studies from the University of California, Berkeley. Before coming to Yale, Yi-Ke worked as a research associate at Peking University’s Institute of International and Strategic Studies, where he provided policy analysis on US-China relations.
