Yousof Omeish (BR '22) is a History major from Northern Virginia. His interests include foreign policy, grand strategy, and global health security. Yousof is drawn to global health for its interdisciplinary approach, offering key, meaningful lessons in policymaking, security, governance, and diplomacy. Previously, Yousof worked on Senator Menendez's Africa and global health policy portfolio as an intern in the Senate Foreign Relations Committee. He also worked for the Council on Foreign Relations, researching pandemic preparedness and vaccine nationalism and contributing to the Council's task force report on the COVID-19 pandemic. On campus, Yousof has served in several leadership roles in the Yale International Relations Association, and takes part in Yale's Muslim Students Association and volunteer opportunities.
