American Power in the 21st Century, taught by former U.S. Secretary of State and Jackson Institute’s Distinguished Senior Fellow John Kerry, examines U.S. foreign policy in the 21st Century and imparts on students the tools of diplomacy to tackle urgent challenges and defend peace and prosperity in an increasingly complex world.
On April 2-3, 2020, Secretary Kerry was joined by special guests, former Director of the NSA and the first commander of the US Cyber Command General Keith Alexander and Dr. Vanessa Kerry, Director of the Global Public Policy Program at Harvard Medical School. They discussed with students the profound impact of cybersecurity and global health on our national security and how we can be better prepared to meet these challenges in the future.
