Khaldoon Bakahail is Senior Strategic Advisor and Coordinator For Yemen at the Geneva Center for Security Sector Governance (DCAF), and an active member of the Nobel Prize winning Pugwash Conferences on Science and World Affairs. He is a former senior governmental official in the Yemeni Government and proud alumni of the Near East South Asia Center for Strategic Studies (NESA).

Khaldoon is also the cofounder of Red Sea Analytics International (RSAI), a US based consultancy. Routine advisor for ranking government officials, the UN, leading NGOs and businesses on security and political issues in Yemen and the broader region, he is currently responsible for designing and facilitating high-level security dialogues between multiple actors in Yemen’s ongoing conflict through DCAF.
