Valeriya Ionan is an Advisor to the First Deputy Prime Minister of Ukraine – Minister of Digital Transformation of Ukraine on innovation, digitalization, and global partnerships. As former Deputy Minister, she led the creation of products within the Diia ecosystem, spearheaded key national projects such as Diia.Business and Diia.Education, and coordinated areas of EU integration, international relations and regional digital transformation.

Valeriya is the visionary behind Ukraine’s Global Innovation Strategy WINWIN, and projects such as CDTO Campus, Digital State UA, and GGTC Kyiv, part of the World Economic Forum’s C4IR Network. Recognized among the most promising future leaders by Mastercard Legacy, EYL40, Vogue Leaders, and UP100, Valeriya is also an ISF Fellow and was recently named to Sifted’s “100 Women in Tech in Europe 2025.” She believes that innovation is the driving force behind Ukraine’s economic growth, building on her extensive background in entrepreneurship, management, and marketing.
