The Yale Kerry Initiative will host a conversation with Pulitzer-Prize winning journalist and author Thomas Friedman on Monday, October 8, at 4pm.

Friedman will join John Kerry, the former U.S. Secretary of State and the Distinguished Fellow for Global Affairs at Yale, for a conversation about the state of democracy at home and abroad. Kerry will also discuss his new book, “Every Day is Extra,” and sign copies after the talk. Copies of the book will be available for purchase.

The event, which is free and open to the general public, is sponsored by the Kerry Initiative at Yale University, an interdisciplinary program that tackles pressing global challenges through teaching, research, and international dialogue.

Seating is limited. Attendees must register* online and present their EventBrite ticket at the door. The event will be live-streamed.

*Please note that registration is now full. There will be a wait list line on the day of the event for any available seats.

Registration is not required for the book signing event following the talk.
