Adedoyin Pearse

Adedoyin Pearse is a multi-dimensional professional passionate about clean energy technologies, advancing energy access in Africa, and decarbonizing industrial systems to reduce carbon emissions across all sectors. She is the Ventures Lead for Africa and a member of the global venture capital team at Siemens Energy Ventures, the corporate venturing arm of Siemens Energy. In both roles, she monitors trends scouts, leads the investment process from deal sourcing to successful transaction closing in clean energy and climate tech verticals, and collaborates with eco-system partners to advance startup success while expanding the Siemens Energy portfolio.

Previously, Adedoyin served as the General Counsel and Company Secretary at Siemens Nigeria, overseeing legal and corporate governance functions. In this role, she successfully set up Siemens' first legal department in Nigeria, where she negotiated high-value and impactful power and related service contracts with private and public sector customers. Prior to her experience at Siemens, she had amassed several years of experience in consulting roles with EY and Deloitte and law practice, where she provided tax, regulatory, and legal advisory services to clients in the energy sector.

Adedoyin holds an LLM and Bachelor of Laws from the University of Dundee and the University of Lagos, respectively, and an MBA from the University of Cambridge. She is dedicated to serving her community through volunteerism. She is a volunteer startup mentor for Techstars, GetFundedAfrica, and Women in Successful Careers.
