Small in scale. Global in reach.

The Master of Advanced Study (MAS) in Global Affairs is a one-year program for mid-career professionals. Created in 2013, the program is small by design, with only a few admitted students each year. The MAS is aimed at professionals with extensive experience in a field of global affairs such as, but not limited to, international security, diplomacy, and development.

Yale Jackson is a community of scholars, students, practitioners, alumni, and staff committed to making a difference in all fields of global affairs. We bring to Yale talented students from all over the world, dedicated to making the world a better place. We prepare students to understand the world through academically rigorous programs taught by faculty who are leaders in their fields and practitioners who have frontline experience addressing global challenges.
