About
Lily Sutton oversees administrative, financial, and program operations for the International Leadership Center’s fellowships and initiatives, including the Yale World Fellows, the university’s signature global leadership development program. Prior to this role, she served for seven years as director and then assistant dean for student affairs at the Jackson School. Sutton joined Yale in 2012 as director of admissions for the Yale School of Music.
Her career in higher education began at New York University, where she led the administration for an interdisciplinary arts initiative under the Office of the Provost, and at Bard College where she served as director of admissions for the Bard College Conservatory of Music. She is a violinist and holds a Master of Education degree from Harvard Graduate School of Education and a Bachelor of Arts in history from Wesleyan University.
