Admission to the M.P.P. and M.A.S. Programs
Jackson will automatically waive the application fee for all M.P.P. applications received by December 1. A form is not required to receive this waiver. There is no fee waiver for M.A.S. applications.
M.P.P. applicants may still apply until the final deadline of January 2, but a $75 application fee will be charged for applications submitted after 11:59 pm EST on December 1. M.A.S. applicants must apply by November 1 and a $100 application fee will be charged. Application fees are non-refundable. No preference is given to early applications.
The fee is paid immediately upon submitting your application through the application platform. The fee must be paid or a fee waiver must be granted before your application will be reviewed. If the fee is not paid or a fee waiver is not obtained, the application will be cancelled.
Acceptable Forms of Payment
Visa, Mastercard, Discover and American Express are the only accepted means of payment. Debit cards and credit card debit authorizations are not accepted. Wire transfers (such as SWIFT or Fedwire) are not accepted.
If there is an issue or error submitting payment, please confirm that either a Visa, Mastercard, Discover, or American Express card is being used and the correct card number, expiration date, and security code have been entered.
If that does not resolve the issue, please check with the credit card company or try using a different card.
It is highly recommended that M.P.P. applicants submit their applications by the December 1 automatic fee waiver deadline. However, some M.P.P. applicants who are members of special fellowships or programs may be eligible for a fee waiver beyond the December 1 deadline (see list below). The eligibility requirements and process to request a waiver are below.
Note: Fee waiver requests usually take 2-3 business days to process, and the deadline to request a fee waiver is December 15, so please plan accordingly.

How to Request a Fee Waiver
Please follow the instructions below to submit a fee waiver request. Fee waiver requests are due by December 15. Do not submit the application fee until your fee waiver request has been processed and a reply is received. Paid application fees will not be refunded.
To access the Fee Waiver Request Form, start the application and complete the Personal Background section.
Complete the Fee Waiver Request Form. If you started an application very recently, it may take a few minutes for the system to register the new application and grant access to the fee waiver request form.
Once the fee waiver request is submitted, an email will be sent within 3-5 business days indicating a waiver has been granted. If a fee waiver is not granted, the application fee must be paid when you submit your application.
