3 credits. This seminar provides an overview and introduction to the statistical software R for the analysis and graphical presentation of natural and social science data. We follow a flipped style of teaching, with class time primarily used for working through examples and problems as a class or individually, as well as for analysis of the student’s own data. The course provides the practical training in R for theoretical courses such as F&ES 510a and 753a. They can be taken concurrently or sequentially.
