International Security Studies begins its Spring 2024 Colloquium Series with a presentation by David Engerman, Leitner International Interdisciplinary Professor of History and Global Affairs. A scholar of twentieth-century international history, he has researched and written on a variety of topics including US-Soviet relations, development assistance, and economic history. His current research explores the geopolitics of international economic inequality in the second half of the twentieth century.

Engerman will present material from his new book project, Apostles of Development: Six Economists and the World They Made.

This event is open to the Yale community; lunch will be provided. Please register to receive the reading materials for this colloquium.
