Aidan Stretch is a junior in Yale College studying history. On campus, he is the President of the Men’s Rugby Team, a member of the William F. Buckley Jr. Program, and a fellow with the Peace and Dialogue Leadership Initiative. After working on both sides of the aisle in American politics and policy and studying abroad in India and Spain, he is interested in how shifts in culture and values threaten democracies across the world. He worked for a nonprofit combating polarization in America, and he has written for the Wall Street Journal, National Review, and the Yale Politic on topics ranging from campus discourse to foreign policy. In his free time, Aidan enjoys watching college football and reading good novels.
