Ana L. De La O is an associate professor of political science at Yale. She is also affiliated with the University's MacMillan Center for International and Area Studies and the Institution of Social and Policy Studies. Her research interests include causes and consequences of redistribution, politics of public goods provision, effects of anti-poverty programs on the political behavior of recipients in developing countries and the use of field experimental research methods. She is writing a book manuscript that explores the proliferation of Conditional Cash Transfers in Latin America.
