Ananya Rajagopalan (TD’24, she/her) is a Computer Science major also pursuing a Statistics & Data Science certificate, from Seattle, Washington. Ananya’s interests in global health are primarily focused on using computational tools to improve health outcomes and address the persisting challenge of predicting and preventing communicable diseases. She works at the Gerstein Lab where she is currently investigating genomic contributions to neurological disorders. In the past, Ananya has served as a Director for Helix, Yale’s undergraduate healthcare startup incubator, and worked as a business development intern for startups in family wellness and drug discovery. She hopes to increase her understanding of global health specifically in the lens of making data-driven decisions and using technology to maximize the efficacy of health interventions. In her free time, you can find her dancing with Yale Jashan Bhangra, spending time with friends, or hiking!
