Lieutenant Colonel Tim “Kitty” Gallagher has served in the U.S. Marine Corps for more than 20 years as a KC-130J pilot and Foreign Area Officer. He has deployed in support of operations Iraqi Freedom, Enduring Freedom, and Inherent Resolve and served as the KC-130 Requirements Officer in the Office of the Chief of Naval Operations in the Pentagon. He most recently completed a tour as the Commanding Officer for a Marine detachment and squadron in New York. In addition to his operational and staff tours, LtCol Gallagher served multiple tours in France as an Olmsted Scholar and exchange officer, earning a master's in international security at Sciences Po Paris in 2012 and graduating from l’Ecole de Guerre in 2017.
