Overview

Our students want preparation for global leadership and service, and pursue a wide variety of career paths after leaving Yale.

Jackson undergraduates are curious about the world. They’re motivated to better understand global affairs through interdisciplinary academic training and experiences outside the classroom.

The Global Affairs major requires students to become proficient in at least one foreign language; in fact, many of our students are already multilingual when they are accepted to the program. Our undergraduates apply the knowledge and skills learned in the classroom to a real-world policy question in their senior year as part of the Capstone Project.

Our undergraduates are very much a part of the Jackson community. Many serve as liaisons to World Fellows, they attend lectures and social gatherings, and they are a visible presence at the Jackson School.
