We look forward to welcoming you to the Jackson School this August! Below is a preliminary outline of the 2024 orientation schedule, which we will continue updating in the coming weeks.

Stay tuned for a new Jackson New Student Orientation Group in Yale Connect for the detailed schedule of activities.

We also have a special team of second-year students, our New Student Orientation (NSO) coordinators, organizing a variety of activities as well. You will start to hear from them later in the summer.

Monday, August 19

Check-in at Horchow Hall (55 Hillhouse Avenue)

9:30-10:30 am | Breakfast available and Yale ID card pickup (Horchow Hall, 55 Hillhouse Avenue)

10:30 am | Student Introductions

11:00 am-12:00 pm | Introduction to academics

12:00-1:00 pm | Lunch

1:00-1:45 pm | Registering for classes

2:00-3:30 pm | Required orientation session for new international students (OISS, 421 Temple Street)

12:30-1:30 pm | Lunch and introduction to academics

9:00 am: Bus departs Horchow Hall (55 Hillhouse Avenue)

First day of orientation for M.A.S. students

Afternoon | Registering for classes

5:30 pm: Bus departs the Berkshires to return to Horchow Hall for M.P.P. students
