About the Conference

Hosted by the Brady-Johnson Program in Grand Strategy, in collaboration with the Yale Sustainable Food Program, this two-day conference will explore the critical issues shaping global food systems, with a focus on access, sustainability, and power dynamics.

The event aims to foster meaningful dialogue and collaboration on the future of food security, from local food systems to the global economy. Through a series of panels, discussions, and presentations by leading experts, attendees will engage with urgent issues such as climate change, famine, and obstacles to foreign aid, alongside agricultural innovation, access, and strategies for resilience. David Beasley, former executive director of the World Food Programme and Nobel Prize recipient, will deliver the keynote address.

This conference is open to the Yale community.
