Description:
The Blue Center for Global Strategic Assessment will host a lecture on “Economic Sanctions,” as part of the center’s Co-Lectures in the Theory and Practice of Statecraft series. The lecture will be delivered by Paul Kennedy, J. Richardson Dilworth Professor of History and Global Affairs, and Edward Fishman, Senior Research Scholar, Center on Global Energy Policy at Columbia University, Policy Planning Staff, State Department (’15-17).
The series pairs practitioners from government and industry with Yale professors to deliver joint, hour-long lectures on subjects of mutual expertise. Practitioners discuss events or policy initiatives in which they participated, and academics cover related insights or results generated by their research.
The lectures are open to the Yale community.
