Description:
The Social Innovation Initiative (SII) at the Jackson School of Global Affairs will host a presentation by Erik Clemons, co-founder of Connecticut Community Outreach and Revitalization Program (ConnCORP), a subsidiary of ConnCAT, designed to explore and implement opportunities for economic development and investment in New Haven. His work underscores the importance of starting local to address systemic inequalities and build a resilient economy.
The talk is part of the SII fall speaker series, “Innovating Locally for Global Challenges,” which brings together entrepreneurial leaders from the New Haven community who demonstrate how local innovation can impactfully tackle complex social issues on a broader scale. Join us as we delve into their journeys in systems change and the global implications of their work through a TED-style talk followed by Q&A discussion.
The event is open to the Yale community. Registration is required.
Please reach out to SII Fellows Sarah Pieslak (sarah.pieslak@yale.edu) or Tiff Jiang (tiff.jiang@yale.edu) with any questions.
