Description:

The Blue Center for Global Strategic Assessment will host a lecture on “International Development” as part of the center’s Co-Lectures in the Theory and Practice of Statecraft series. The lecture will be delivered by David Engerman, Leitner International Interdisciplinary Professor of History at Yale, and Naz El-Khatib, a former senior advisor at the U.S. State Department and deputy chief of staff for policy at the U.S. International Development Finance Corporation.

The series pairs practitioners from government and industry with Yale professors to deliver joint, hour-long lectures on subjects of mutual expertise. Practitioners discuss events or policy initiatives in which they participated, and academics cover related insights or results generated by their research.
